EVP and practical toolkit

Everyone knows Gleneagles. It’s world famous. So it was a great honour to be asked to look at their staff attraction and retention issues – helping them tackle the lingering effects of Brexit, Government visa changes and the pandemic.

 

Of all the EVP projects we’ve worked on, this has to be the most glamorous, with the research phase including a comprehensive experiential package of activities, as well as an access-all-areas pass to the hotel, staff areas and facilities.

It was an uplifting experience, as we saw first hand the effect that being part of a place like Gleneagles generates. It was our job to articulate that feeling. We started with a series of group and 121 interviews, followed by in-depth desk top research. The basis issues were familiar to us through our work – an elite set of senior people from every business and culinary discipline with worldwide connection, and a very local workforce drawn from very tight local catchment areas.

We met some real characters and articulated the Gleneagles EVP through a comprehensive Toolkit and activation templates produced alongside the Gleneagles brand team, and the brand and production teams at Ennismore, which translated into a new web section on the Gleneagles website.

​

We love to work with other professionals in our business, and this was a great opportunity to share expertise and learn.
