SSE have extensive commitments to DEI and to female representation at all levels within the organisation. This project aimed to highlight the opportunities for women in senior and leadership roles. We produces a series of videos highlighting the careers of women currently in these roles within SSE. These were informal sessions where the difficulties faced in different areas – work, promotion, development opportunities, carer and childcare commitments, menopause and maternity leave were discussed openly, together with the support that SSE offered.

We created a new web section for these films and the stories that accompanied them and use a mix of direct digital advertising and Search to introduce the SSE Senior Women to those who could be considering a different career or leaving the jobs market altogether.
